Why should I join OSSA?

 

The Ohio State Snowmobile Association is very active in the sport of snowmobiling by being a voice for the state of Ohio and its snowmobile riders.

 

Examples:

  • We work closely with O.D.N.R. to  establish public trails

  • Legislative contact on State & National levels to protect our right to ride on public lands.

  • We attend many meetings to keep the Snowmobiler up to date:

    • Rails to Trails

    • Ohio Trails Council

    • Western Reserve Greenway Trail

    • The Ohio to Erie Trail

    • OH Dept. of Natural Resources

  • We are members of:

    • International Snowmobile Council

    • Mid-West Chapter of American Council of  Snowmobile Assn.

    • Blue Ribbon Coalition

    • North Shore Trail

    • Western Reserve Greenway Trail

    • Rails to Trails

  • $100.00 Charity Club Match adjusted to budget yearly.  A sample of our Charity Donations:

    • Easter Seal Society

    • Salvation Army

    • Local Volunteer Fire Dept.

  • We compile all Snowmobile Charities from Ohio for International Charity Report

  • An OSSA delegate attends the International Snowmobile Congress, Mid-West Chapter and various other conventions, to     better inform the O.S.S.A. of happenings in other states.
